Technical Information regarding the images used on this siteThe pictures on this site are available for download in three sizes, all in .jpg format.

On the BEAR home page, the thumbnail pictures are 342 pixels wide by 274 pixels high, squeezed into 150 x 120 pixel rectangles for viewing.
Each file is about 10 - 15Kb
These images are merely resized images of the files in #2, below.To download an image, RIGHT click your mouse, and "Save (Picture or Image) As" a file on your own computer.

On each individual bear's page, the image is actually 1712 pixels wide by 1368 pixels high, squeezed into a 575 x 465 pixel rectangle for viewing.
Each file is about 110 - 220Kb
These images were color balanced, cropped, and photo-processed from the original "raw" photo available in option #3, belowTo download an image, RIGHT click your mouse, and "Save (Picture or Image) As" a file on your own computer.

The original "right out of the camera" UN-balanced, Un-edited, and Un-cropped and Un-everything-else are the same 1712 x 1368 pixels.
Each file sizes are nearly 2Mb ... too slow for me to upload effectively with my 56K modem.If you want any of these "Raw Photos" please click on an image below (an outgoing mail folder will appear), and I will try to email the file to you...
You only need to click on the image, and then click "send" in the message that appears.
There is no need for any text message unless you want to communicate something other than requesting a photo.
